The Air Jordan 1 Low "Voodoo" is a special edition of the iconic sneaker inspired by the culture of New Orleans. This release coincided with the launch of basketball star Zion Williamson's Nike Zion 2, which shares the same "Voodoo" nickname. The "Voodoo" theme draws inspiration from voodoo dolls, a prominent aspect of New Orleans' folklore.
What sets this shoe apart is its mismatched color scheme. It features beige suede on the mid-panel and brown suede on the perforated toe. The toe, forefoot, eyelets, and heel of both the left and right shoe incorporate burlap-like overlays in a mismatched combination of green and brown. Brown stitching complements the tonal Swoosh on both sides of the shoe, and there are inverted mini Swooshes on the forefoot. The unique design is capped off with an upside-down "Wings" logo on the heel. This distinctive release was made available on November 8, 2022.
